The Brain

The way a child's brain develops is totally down to the experiences they have had and the emotions attached to them. The way the pathways in the brain develop in children really does affect their behaviour, their personality and even their future prospects.

So understanding how we can help to rewire the pathways in the brain through nurture and therapeutic care is really helpful. Again the video in my 'Fostering' post in the Fostering Basics section - or on the Attachments page - explains this, as hopefully do the posts below.
