Nutmeg gets adopted.

This is a beautiful story by which any adopted child will be able to relate to. I recommend using this with either Fostered or Adopted children, to help them understand
why they are with you and not their birth family.

It is written by Judith Foxton
Illustrated by Sarah Rawlings

A heartwarming story which I have used many times, with children of all ages, but particularly those of primary school age.

The Billy says series by Joanne Alper.

A set of 6 books which take a child through the journey from disruption at home, social workers, and right through to a new home and family. These are priceless!

Exvcellent for a child at any stage of the process, especially primary school age, recommended for 3 - 8 year olds,
but I have used them with older children too!
